Okay, so I've finally managed to record something that's smooth, silkly and DOESN'T HAVE BLOODY NOISE IN THE BACKGROUND!
Here is my 'revolutionary!' set-up now:
1. Crappy "learn-it-yourself" keyboard featuring the revolutionary feature of "try-to-play-this-song-by-hitting-this-lighted-u p-key!" (thankfully it has 263 possible tones... but half of them are just the same instruments that are "GM tones" so meh. Oh it's a Casio, but probably one of their 'cheap-kiddy-but-large' keyboards)
2. The awesome recorder I have. The issue I had was trying to record with the built in microphones... didn't work due to noisy/annoying/crappy sound environment I have... speaking of which...
3. A crappy sound environment involving:
a) Slightly noisy analog clock... it makes my room look good though so I'm keeping it. Also, it's overshadowed by the keyboard speakers, so I'm content.
b) Keyboard keys keep "clicking" during the passionate bits of the song (I mean, COME ON!) THE MAIN AND MOST ANNOYING ISSUE!!!
c) Me, being frustrated with my noise background and banging everything in sight in defiance of said sound environment
4. A simple, tiny cable that is designed to connect your iPod (or iPhone or whatever) to your car (It's called the "Retractable Car Stero Cable for iPod and iPhone" ... weird long name for something simple.) Thanks to this tiny BEAST I can actually input sound to my recorder DIRECTLY, solving said issues with my sound environment!
So there you go, I can actually post professionally recorded stuff now! But it's not going to happen just yet. I'm more worried about school and my skills on the piano/trombone/trumpet/composing so I might take a while D:< NAR!
